Characters in Flight at Downtown Disney Lifts Off

A new Characters in Flight balloon is now soaring above Downtown Disney.

The tethered helium balloon is the world's largest and has a gondola that is 19 feet in diameter and holds up to 29 Guests at one time. From 400 ft up in the air, guests get a breathtaking 360-degree view of Walt Disney World Resort and spectacular views of up t 10 miles away, for approximately 8 – 10 minutes.

The Balloon also has a fresh new design which has a red, yellow and blue color scheme, with set of flying characters: Tinker Bell, Peter Pan, Buzz Lightyear, Dumbo, Jasmine and Aladdin.

The daily hours of operation are 8:30am to midnight, weather permitting.

Ticket Prices:

$18 Adult (tax included) - Guests ages 10 and up
$12 Children (tax included) - Guests ages 3 - 9
Free- Guests 2 and under

Tickets may be purchased at the attraction's ticket window.

I have been promising my self to do the flight maybe next year whats the best time day or night

We did it during the day because we wanted the view.
