...it's been so long since I've been to WDW that I'm not sure if they still have "seasons" related to hotel prices. Are there still times of the year that are cheaper than others?

Not sure if its the same if you stay at wdw, but international drive seems to be cheaper in november and january
early September apart from Labor Day, first 2 weeks of December...January?
Definitely the beginning of September and December are quieter. I like September the weather is still warm, the evenings are light and the parks are empty.
We were there the end of September beginning of October this year and it was silly busy some days and the Brazillian Tour groups were out in force :hide:
Those tour groups frighten me.
Early Dec would be nice. The decorations are up by the 1st of Dec, is that correct? The only thing that frightens me about the winter is the flying. I'm not sure how comfortable I feel about flying in the middle of the snowy season.
 the decorations are up by the middle of November so everything will be all Christmassy in early December :)
The weather is cooler, but that probably wouldn't worry you as it will be colder where you are anyway
The Florida weather would be great! However, I never want to hear or think about ice being removed from the wings of airplanes.
The beginning if Dec has become a very popular time to visit so the discounts are not always there.
Late Aug to Sept are usually the cheapest times to visit. January can be also cheap but the weather is highly changeable
Johnie, are you referring to the whole month of September (regarding price)?
