This looks interesting, it makes me feel really old looking at the hair styles and clothes
I got a kick out of the older gentleman's subtitle "has a home computer." :D :D
I was looking through my parents wedding album the other day and found a photo tucked up that I'd not seen in years. It's of my Da at a computer back in what must be the early 60s? He's in a suit and tie, with a headset and the computer is a huge wall covering affair…
I'm going to have it framed. :D
I read somewhere, some time ago now, that our smart phones have more memory than those early huge computers. We've come so far with technology.
Heck! I remember learning to TYPE (not keyboard, mind) on an IBM ball selectric! Hahahaha. I actually learned too, on a MANUAL. I still hit my laptop keys too hard because of that early training. :D
Rotary phones… :D
I learnt to type on a manual typewriter
Awesome. You know, it's strange - I was only three when this aired but I feel strangely 'at home' when I watch it.
Radio Shack/Tandy TRS-80
Tell Google that! :laughhard:Quote:
We're not making much money at it.
Tom ( :macwave:.. set the Wayback machine Sherman!)
I remember the first "portable computers!" They weighed about 40 flipping pounds!

Compare those to your Mac Air, or iPad mini!  Seriously. I remember lugging these things!
I remember helping a friend build one of these!
