best free things to do at disney world?

Two of our favorite things involve checking out the other resorts. Mostly we go near the Christmas holiday season, so we love going to the GF as they have live music in the commons. Grab a tea or coffee and sit in the grand foyer. Stunning. Also at AK there seems to be some activities that the kids and young at heart were doing, singing dancing and acting. Looked like fun. Of course the rocking chairs and comfy chairs were also a welcome free activity (or lack of activity)
