hoop dee doo or luau?

I have been to both and they are good. However, the hoop dee doo is my favourite. :p015:

I think you should just do both! Then worry about how to pay for it later :0) We haven't done HDDR yet. We have done the Luau twice. I have enjoyed it both times but when we went in March, it was sooooo cold my DD and DS were wrapped up in fleece.

Unfortunately, you have to pay for the dinner shows when you book. Unless you are on the dining plan, then you just give them your CC info in case you don't show/cancel.

You're right..... but it is a nice thought to dream about doing both. I am not responsible when it comes to spending money at WDW. :spring:

I've always fancied going to the Luau but the same as you John, we've seen one in Hawaii and I know will compare the two, just like I did the Poly :lol:

We are doing the Hoop De Doo and Mickeys Backyard Barbeque again next year - we were planning to do the Luau as well but thought it was a bit much and I really want to do the barbeque again while the kids will still be young enough to want to dance with the characters :)
