Anyone making their own christmas cards?

I really fancy giving it a go this year although no idea where to start :lol:

YES! I made a few in January while I was still feeling festive, and now I'm gonna start on some more soon!

I made some last year and recycled pictures from old cards, this year I've invested in some backing papers and will be buying a card making magazine or 2 when their Xmas ones are out - which will be very soon! :yes:

I used to do that for packages that we shipped, instead of using ribbon and bows that would be squashed. I used solid colour wrapping paper and glued on the card cutouts.

Could always identify our packages in the "under the tree" photos! :lol:

I like to make my own gift tags. I have a little side business where I make diaper cakes and towel cakes. But I don't think I am that creative to make christmas cards. Those are really nice! I always prefer the photo cards so I can find my favorite disney vaca pic and "brag" to others about our wonderful year. Is that bad?:camera:

Pretty cards! :yes: I have no talent at all when it comes to making cards. :sigh; I love handmade cards though.

I have a beautiful one that Dawn made me for my birthday a few years back. It was purple with a purple feather, and a fairy (and the neatest little purple clothespin). :yes: She also made me an incredible angel Christmas card one year. Whew. Lots of work in those! :yes:

I've received quite a few beautiful handmade cards, actually! :yes:

I made my own Christmas cards for a few years but I just don't have the time this year. :sigh;
