Tink, I'm just going to brown the sausages - pork and apple for the boys, and veggie ones for me - and put them in the oven covered in the batter mix which is nothing special, just normal flour,eggs,milk
I'm not usually too good at toad in the hole, my batter is usually too thick but I'm sure it's going to be lovely now I've mixed it with my NEW MIXER!

I love those gorgeous stand mixers, don't you? Wait 'til you try bread dough with it! :yes: Works like a charm. (As long as it's a single loaf recipe. I tried a double and really gave the machine a hard time).
