Was poking around on the internet and ran across this. I thought it would be useful to those visitors who use taxi services.

That's a brilliant find Tink.....we need a 'useful' links thread!
we really do need that because thats VERY useful indeed
Good! Glad it will be helpful!
Good point! I'll sticky this then?
Thsi is a great resource but i can't decide if i'm better off booking a transfer from MCO to I-Drive,from RPR to DC and RPR to POP or to just get a Mears cab which looks a lot cheaper.
How reliable are the fares?
Would there be Mears cabs at the 2 locations or could i just get RPR to ring for them?
Will will be taking all of our luggage from RPR to Disney so would they have room?
Thanks :D
Taxi fares are based on rates + time. If you're stuck in traffic, it could be considerably more expensive than if there is little or no traffic. And the rates can vary, with surcharges added if fuel prices increase drastically in a short period of time.
Not sure about space for luggage. US taxis are considerably smaller than they used to be. Not sure how one would request a larger vehicle--or if it's possible.
The towncars have huge trunks. We usually have two full-size cases (26") and a carry-on each (15" to 20" inches), and they look rather lonely in there! Even the grocery stop doesn't begin to fill the trunk!
Ok so i think the best thing to do would be Quicksilver for airport transfer and transfer to Disney and cab for I-Drive to RPR and RPR to DC.
Thanks Taja.
