Isafari's secret wedding vow renewal part 2

I suppose I cheated a little as I didn't quite finish off the previous report.
Day 2 ended with.......Sitting at the table, DH says......."so, how long do I have to pretend that I know nothing for?"

Most of you know that for the past year and a half, I have been planning a day in secret from DH to have our wedding vows renewed for our 20th wedding anniversary while we were in Florida. Well, this is what happened the few days previous to us leaving for Florida....... because my mam was going to miss out on the day, while DH was out of the house, I tried my outfit on for her to give her a 'fashion show'. While I was doing this, MIL walks in the room (she is staying with us for a few days) and asks what is going on. Being so close to the actual holiday, I think to myself that there is no harm in explaining to her. I make sure that she knows it is a secret from DH. Later that day, DH comes home from work and MIL tells him!! So, a year and a half of planning down the tube just 3 days before we leave.
Now, I assume that DH didn't want to ruin it for me so he tried to keep quiet and play along as though he knew nothing for as long as he could.
Boy, was I :mad: at the secret being out!!

What a shame. I would of been so cross as well. Why could she not keep it a secret :mad:
