It's a dining discount card for people who are Florida residents or AP holders. You get 20% off food and drinks at a good majority of the table service restaurants.
including victoria & albert :D
We are gettin it this year - we have bought 3x 21 day disney tickets and I am having a basic annual pass with our DVC discount which means we can buy a tables in wonderland card -it should save us a fair bit
They will automatically add back in 18% for the tip so just be warned. They don't typically tell you either so I bet some people end up tipping twice!
there's a little bit of % creep taking effect too. V&A (and somewhere else I can't remember) for example auto-charge 20% not 18. Now, not that I resent it, you'd have to be a pretty bitter person not to tip at least 20% to v&a *BUT* nevertheless, it should be optional and at your discretion.
that might be something we would be interested in then, thanks
Lisa what was the difference in price between the AP and 21 day tickets? although i guess it depends on the exchange rate
Really? I haven't been to V&A so I haven't seen the 20%.
I found that Disney was actually cheating it's servers by adding the 18% in. I apparently tip more than that.
A yes, a tip should always be optional and at one's own discretion. I think they started adding it in because people were tipping on the discounted rate. Other places tend to add in the tip if you are using a coupon as well.
