Sorry Issy :anxious: you would love the Grand though, the music from Wishes piped onboard, all the other boats have to stay behind the Grand, very romantic if it was just the two of you
Re: silver wedding anniversary
I don't think you have to be an onsite guest to book one of the cruises.
Now you do have to be part of a grand gathering to book the speciality events and the Wishes cruise is one of those. Now that is a lot of fun but you are on a full boat so it is not romantic

Thank you so much for all of your replies so far :)
Tom....Tink is right, I'm a VERY plain eater. I have thought of V&A in the past but it really would be a waste on me!

Wow....that sounds absolutely perfect in every way. I don't think the budget would go that far though  It's a real shame as any other time, I would have totally gone for that. I so want to thank DH for standing by me all of the tough years we've had (those who know me understand) ....he deserves a medal the size of a dustbin lid.
What sort of prices are we looking at for the above suggestion from Tink & Wendy?
Johnie....I will keep the cruise in mind, thanks.
Re: silver wedding anniversary
When I checked on the Grand it was about $400 plus. :sigh: I wanted it for Herself's birthday, but whooeee, couldn't do it.
Oh and Issy? You are pretty darn special yourself. :hug2:

...and you MUST check out the wc! It sure gives you some exercise working the flush with your foot.
For dinner, how about the Blue Zoo at the Dolphin? It has more of an "adult" feel about it and the food is great.

Didn't they open the Wishes cruise to all guests last year?
Or was I dreaming?
Or did they change it again?
Re: silver wedding anniversary
Oh I do hope you get the chance to go! To me, just being able to go would be a wonderful gift!!! In 2 years we will be celebrating our 20th & would love to do the vow renewal ceremony-but it's not cheap!! I think I'd rather just take a family trip & celebrate that way. Good luck & I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!!!!
