Hi disney4me! :hello1:
Welcome to Disney Secrets!
:10:
Hello and welcome.
We went early December 2001 and loved it.
It was still warm and all the Christmas decorations were up.
Make sure you see the Osbourne Family Lights at DHS.

Welcome to Disney Secrets! We're glad you've joined us!
December will have variable weather. It can be down right hot or down right cold! Usually some where in between, but be prepared for swimsuits, shorts and tanks or tees and sweats, gloves and jackets all in one visit! Just depends on what the jet stream does.
There is so much to do--and not just the regular park visits. The resorts are decked out in their holiday finery and the parks are decorated to a certain extent. There are storytellers in World Showcase (EPCOT) who share their country's version of Christmas or other holiday with the guests. Something else in WS at EPCOT, but the name escapes me at the moment. You do have to queue a long time for seat for that one, though. Obviously haven't shifted from taxes to Disney yet! Osbourne Lights at DHS (hopefully--I haven't been on the boards lately and haven't followed the holiday entertainment schedules). DHS and AK have special holiday versions of their afternoon parades. And all of that is included in the regular admission for the parks. :)
If you'll post your questions in the most relevant forums and let us know what everyone's interests are, we'll do our best to help you with your planning. It's something we all enjoy--particularly those of us who won't be visiting WDW personally for some time! :)
 Hello and welcome!
Well hello and welcome aboard! Great time to go to Disney! The decorations in the resorts like the Grand Floridian and Poly are stunning. Take time to take the monorail over and have a snack in the lobby and drink in the sights and sounds.
