...play on Second Life?
I setup a character but I never really got much more into it than that.
Are you an addict? :D
 ok ok enthusiast :D
I really ought to try it again sometime
I enjoy the heck out of it...and I believe someone built a WDW replica that you can walk around in and ride the rides!
Aha! Found it! It's a sim called Mouse World, and you can see a video tour of it on YouTube here
(though I found the music in the background a bit too much for me at times, LOL)
Thats so cool! I'm going to have to go in and find that
It's a lot of fun...no lines, no paying for tickets, and the person who built it put in a lot of time to try to get things right. My favorite so far--haven't finished touring the sim yet--is the Haunted Mansion. They even included sound clips from the actual ride, which definitely adds a layer of realism!
It's a nice way to get my Disney fix in SL when I can't hop a plane at a moment's notice.
Same here!!!
I entered because a friend who LIVES in there told me I HAD to join... however I never got the hang of it..
Still.. I have to admit to going to the SL convention in Chicago in '07. Again, my friend invited, since her husband said NO WAY he was going... hahaha... I went and we had a great time :)
Cool, Mari!
I "live" in SL fairly often--usually in the evenings when I'm unwinding; it's my TV substitute and my social outlet (keeps me at home with the "weans" and out of the nighclubs, or that's my story anyway)!
For me it's a combination hangout (kind of like the Secrets board, just with 3D avatars to talk to) and a place to build things and roleplay a bit when I want to.
What was the convention like? It sounds like an interesting experience!
