      ok to visit Disney resorts?

      I've never really seen anyone say whether its ok or not to visit a resort youre not staying at? you know just to see if you'd like to stay there another time? Do you have to book or make any arrangements?

      you dont even have to be stayin onsite to visit any hotel....i visited the boardwalk first ever disney hotel ive set foot on in oct and it was wow!!...cant use the pools tho only the one your staying at

      we tend to park at downtown disney and get on the transport to where we want to visit the resorts are all very different and deffinately worth looking around

      Yes, it's fine to look around the resorts. You can also eat in the restaurants.

      If you drive there you'll need i.d (d/l if you have one) for the guard at the entrance but if you catch the bus or water taxi's they don't ask for any, or haven't asked us before

      I think Disney likes visitors to stop by and get a feel for the different resorts. It's a nice way to spend an afternoon; visiting some of the resorts that interest you. It's fun to stop by one of their lounges and have a drink, or explore the grounds, that sort of thing.

      One of the very popular things to do during the Christmas season is to visit the resorts as each has a different decorating theme. Many have elaborate candy or gingerbread creations.

      It's one of the "free things" Disney has to offer!

      They can and do turn you away (if that's the mood the guard is in) seems daft when you can catch a bus with no problems. Taking i.d is just best to save hassle
