HELP! I'm still Confused!!
We have dinner reservations on Sept 18, for the Hoop Dee Doo, AT 9:30, pm, i was reading the transportation schedules and it says that if you need a park transfer (which to go from the caribbean beach resort to Wilderness lodge, you need to transfer at MK) BUT the park closes at 7 pm that night according to the calander on disney;s website, How do we transfer when the park is closed?

Re: HELP! I'm still Confused!!
Echoing uscwest's reminder as to the location of HDDR, you can do a couple of things:
*Take a taxi
*or, transfer from a different park that is open later. You don't necessarily *have* to transfer from the MK. EPCOT is typically open until 9 or later so you could always go there and make your transfer. Or, if there is a park open late for EMH, you can also transfer there.
*or, you could transfer at Downtown Disney. Simply bus over to DD from your resort and transfer to FW from there. This can be especially helpful with the "late show" since DD is open quite late and the buses would still be running for your return trip.
One final thing to keep in mind is that the buses run for an hour and a half (maybe two) hours after park closing time.
HTH!

Re: HELP! I'm still Confused!!
I was going to say either a taxi or a bus to DTD and then one to FW
However, when you leave Hoop De Doo ther emight not be any buses to DTD, so it might be a safer bet to get a taxi, and also reserve one back, or ask the guys who takes you if we would be willing to go back for you at a set time

Re: HELP! I'm still Confused!!
I just checked the official WDW website and Friday, Septemer 18th is a MNSSHP night. So the park will be open to event ticketholders until midnight. That means there should be busses running from MK until about 1:00 a.m., possibly a bit later. Not sure if the ferry or other water transportation from Fort Wilderness to MK will be running that late. You can ask when you arrive at Hoop Dee Doo.
A taxi would be an alternative for returning to your resort, though. Love contingency plans!
