28th July wedding day

Tuesday 28th July 2009
didn’t sleep very well but finally awake by 7. Alec and Dave head for extra hours at MK. Diane rings to wish us luck. I go to the resort shop then sit in the pool area where Dave and alec are now.
11.30 ish nip for some food.
Back to the hotel to wash and dry my hair. Do Christine’s hair.
Hairdresser arrives at 3 to do my up do of curls at 4.30 she finally finishes and I am panicking about the time.
We head for the Omni champions gate on time.
Ron the photographer and Karen were all waiting they pin Dave’s flower and hand me mine and a vase to hold them in.
I’m so hot! Ron talks us through the ceremony and then we go down to the gazebo.
The ceremony was wonderful and I cried at the words which were beautiful and perfect for us.
We were taken here and there for pictures before heading inside to cool down. Had to get some scissors as I had a thread on my dress hem that kept catching.
We then head back up I4 to Disney we follow signs for the grand Floridian.
At the security gate we say we have a booking and are handed a car pass we get directions to the front but follow the ones for self park but cant get in as we don’t have key cards, we speak to the guard who lets us in and tells us to go back around. This time we get to valet parking and choose to use this.
We walk towards the door where a girl comes towards us and says “Mrs Green” I say “yes” she then tells us we have been upgraded and I will escort you to your room and check you in.
In the elevator she pops a card into the lift and tells us were on level 5 she continues to talk as we leave the lift 4008 is our room she opens the door and we cannot believe our eyes, this is a huge suite with balconies overlooking MK on every window. The girl takes down details then leaves and we go explore after Dave’s mother orders a bottle of white zinfandel.
7.20 we walk over to narcossee’s feeling very overdressed.
The meal was lovely at the end Christine had organised a cake. Just as light show on seven seas lagoon lake start. They package the rest of the cake up and we head to the front to sort a taxi for the others back to port Orleans French quarter.
Then back to the suite to watch the fireworks from the balcony then sleep.

Oh, you didn't say though. Did you like the food and service at Narcoosee's? What did you end up having for dinner?
