      As long as the text I am sending is going to a UK mobile, it costs no more. It's the actual calls that are expensive.

      If I am in the US and you send me a text, I receive it free but to send a text from the US, it is 25p....this is with Virgin.

      If I receive a text from a UK phone I am charged. It's not much (I really don't remember how much) but there is a fee for it, even though I have unlimited texting. Weird, huh?

      I would be charged if I received a text from a US phone Tink.

      OOPS....Edited to say, no I wouldn't be charged to receive a text from a US phone either. Well, I didn't know that!
