Re: very merry christmas party help???
oh gosh, great questions
Eventually it's going to have to be your choice but depending on when youre going to the party you may already find your choices to be limited! especially in the park.
We tend to like to eat in the park on the evening of the party and we prefer either the liberty tree tavern family style restaurant or crystal palace which is a character buffet. You need to be a bit careful when booking times to try and ensure you dont miss any party events like the wonderful fireworks!
California grill would be a large meal to have before going out to the party in my opinion and the latest booking would probably be relatively early in terms of the party so you may miss out on things.

Re: very merry christmas party help???
So, if you book an ADR an hour (or so) before the party (at a park full service) you would then have to pay park admission (in addition to the special ticket) to get in for the dinner, yes?

Re: very merry christmas party help???
There's a degree of leeway if you have a party ticket. They'll often let you in, with just a party ticket, minutes to an hour before the party if you have a reservation (depending on how kind they are at the gate because by then they'll have "shut down" the park an hour before the party to get everyone other than party goes out.

Re: very merry christmas party help???
No, you are allowed to use your party ticket (MNSSHP and MVMCP and the P&P party when they had them) to get into MK at 4pm. They will not let you use that ticket to get in a moment sooner.
I would personally get a table service meal at LTT or Crystal Palace around 4 or 5pm and then you'll be right there when the party starts.I am a travel agent with The Magic For Less Travel. Please private message me if you'd like help booking a trip!

Re: very merry christmas party help???
we have usually eaten before we've gone to the parks when going to MVMCP and PPP. We like to go round and do the rides before the party starts and they're chucking the day guests out, we've been the only ones on a lot of the rides, imagine being the only one on dumbo LOL

Re: very merry christmas party help???
Before MNSSHP we ate at Kona Cafe at 5:00, changed into our costumes in the bathrooms at the Poly and were in the MK by 6:15pm.
This year we are going to Ohana' before MVMCP. I think I got a 5:15ADR.
