      New Countdown!

      We're booked - 9 nights next August at the Comfort Inn, Manhatten

      Half paid for in Tesco Vouchers so feels quite sweet

      Now the mad planner in me is thinking this is the shortest time I have ever planned a trip - let alone somewhere I haven't been before

      So suggestions on must sees very welcome

      *take a carriage ride in Central Park
      *visit the museum of natural history
      *watch the Lion King musical in Broadway

      OK I have seen Wicked and hope to go again and am about to see The Lion King for the third time I was thinking The Little Mermaid not heard much about it though.

      Would I be able to get tickets when we are there or would I have to buy in advance?

      I thought I heard that the Little Mermaid was closing this past Aug??

      You can buy tickets the day of the show at the ticket booth in Times Square.

      However, if there is something you REALLY want to see, buy in advance.
