Awww, Lisaw.
It does put an instant smile on your face!!! At OKW everyone from the gate guard to the check in CMs tell you "Welcome Home" when you first arrive! It's wonderful!
You are so going to love your DVC.

Re: "I am here"
....there is this scent of the sunscreen that I used to use on the kids.....I swear I could never smell it when we were in Florida...but when we could home, and I'd unzip our suitcases to unpack, that scent would just envelope me and I'd be transported right back to Main Street itself.
The smells in the candy store on main street also pull me right back in....

For me it's when I get that first Starbucks coffee as I get off the plane followed a close second by....
...that blast of heat and air as you leave the terminal building and walk over to get your hire car.
LOL -when we arrive back after a month in the Florida heat and humidity I love the fact that a 7am you can feel that freshness in the air and the soft Irish mist

Re: "I am here"
Its the welcome arch for me too. It feels fantastic when you see the sign and you know you are in for a cool time at disney.
When I hear the humming sounds of the crickets I know I am in Florida. :

Re: "I am here"
For us it is when we reach MGM , walk up towards ToT and hear those frenzied screams. I start to run then. I cant wait to get inside and do the first drop. Im sure that sounds a little weird to some.
