You should've come over to Port Orange, instead. We eat at a restaurant on the river (Halifax) every Friday and we always see dolphins. I wouldn't suggest the casino cruise, though. But there are several sightseeing boats that go up and down the Halifax.

Maybe you could try using an anti-motion-sickness bracelet? They aren't too expensive, and they really do work. Here's a link to one version--there are several on the market. http://www.biobands.com/motionsickness/bracelet.htm

You might also try the motion sickness patch, which you can find here: Learn About Transderm Sc?p® - Clinically Proven Scopolamine Motion Sickness Medication ...since the patch does use chemicals, it might have some side effects that the bracelet doesn't.

I agree with using ginger--candied ginger is fantastic, as is true peppermint oil (which I *think* can be found in Altoids mints). Peppermint and ginger are great at getting rid of the "queasies". I hope you find a method that works, so you can enjoy your cruises!
