Florida wildlife
Outside of the parks, have you ever seen any native Florida wildlife on your travels?
We saw some wild pigs and an armadillo once on the drive to KSC.
We've only ever spotted the one snake.
Lots of birds.....including two vultures that watched us swimming in the villa pool one day

Had a racoon clamber over the pool netting one year. Pitch black & no camera handy so no photo.

Everyone needs a hug in the morning
and one at the end of the day.
As many as possible squeezed in between
to keep lifes troubles at bay.
What’s another word for Thesaurus?

Let's see, since I live in FL I've seen more than my fair share of lizards (which I don't mind), but I've also caught some squirrels here. I didn't know that squirrels were native to FL.

We've seen a snake in Busch Gardens that one of the keepers was trying to keep everyone away from because he said it was wild - I was gone in a flash
We've also seen the vultures and eagles at Kennedy.
We saw a raccoon last year when we were sat by the pool, it came up from the bushes walked all the way along the netting down one side of the house and then back up the other side. It was really cute
