Favourite Hotel???

Jodie, the scents from the restuarants are done deliberately. Periodically, a chef with a smoking pan of spices and herbs will walk through the restaurants and the lounge (Victoria Falls) scenting the air with the aroma. It really is very nice!!

Actually that's what I do wish they'd do at more Disney lounges, offer some better food!

It's great at Mizners lounge (Grand floridian) and crew cups lounge (Yachtsmans) because they both have virtually a full food menu from nearby restaurants! In May we exited Epcot after the fireworks and went for a nice drink at Crew Cup and noticed the new cut down menu from yachtsmans. We had the BEST meal there! Fully served with bread, nice yachtsman's settings etc. Just enough for us

We LOVE the Crew's Cup Lounge and Mizners! :smiley4: They are wonderfully relaxing places and you can have a nice impromtu meal there. Something for folks to remember in this day of ADRs or no service!

I love the Contemporary so I voted for that but a close second would be Wilderness Lodge and the Beach Club

yeah contemporary has a special place in my heart for the times we've walked back at 3am from a magic kingdom extra magic hours and for the great times at the California grill

Since we've stayed at all the value resorts and one moderate resort (and we liked it there so much that's the one we always choose) and the Disney Inn, Disney Institute, and the campgrounds, I voted for POFQ. We love the campgrounds but since that wasn't an option I chose POFQ.

No fears about Pop Century! It's neat, clean and good fun! I've stayed there 4 out of 9 visits in the past 5 years. Prior to that, stayed at Club Lake Villas, which was part of the Disney Convention Center way back when!

I didn't vote, as my favourite varies with my needs. Pop Century wins hands down for good value on a budget. Which is what my recent visits have been.

The only moderate I've stayed at is CSR. Loved the resort in general, but didn't like either Maya or Pepper Market. But I'm a very picky eater, so don't hold my opinion against a terrific resort!

I've stayed at YC and CR (standard tower room) and enjoyed both for different reasons. CR 'cause I always wanted to stay there and love the proximity to MK. YC because it's very comfortable and is convenient to EPCOT & DHS.

Going to have to work on expanding my lodging horizons in the future!
