Thanksgiving/Christmas: Stuffing
One box of Stove Top Turkey flavored stuffing
boil water & follow directions.
hehehe, ok! ok! I'm sorry but I could not resist. If you all only understood how little I am actually able to cook considering I'm a full grown adult with two kids
I shall now leave this thread & not come back since I have nothing to offer
, lol, but good luck. Hope you all get a lot of really good recipes!

You come back here Cristine!!!! Stove Top is a nice stuffing!
Add a bit of this, and a dash of that, and there! You've "made it your own."

Thanks Tink. I keep saying I'm going to try to make some things from scratch rather than box but just never seem to get around to it. It's one of those things about me I wish I had changed years ago. I'm kind of an old dog to teach new tricks to now

Re: Holiday Recipe Exchange
Well, I don't believe that for a minute.
If you want to cook in a manner other than you do right now, just dive right in. If you don't, then do as the Urban Peasant said, serve it with a smile and never apologize!!!
Some folks love to cook. Some folks love to eat! Some folks don't like to do either.
(So I'm told).

Re: Holiday Recipe Exchange
Take one humbug, add loads of hugs, some spiked egg nog and you've got a right jolly soul!

What sorts of cookies do you like Tinkfan? Herself makes a wicked linzer, and a really nice shortbread. I'm not a huge fan of overly sweet cookies...
I have Shellyamc's recipe for peanut butter kiss cookies..Thank you for being a member of our Secrets Family!!! We are so very pleased to have you with us!

Re: Holiday Recipe Exchange
Christmas or anytime: Cookies!
All right then. Since it's you, I'll share my favorite, super-secret cookie recipe with you. It's the only recipe I have so if you don't like them, tell somebody else!
Personally, I love 'em!
Uncle Tommy’s patented, high-speed racing, outrageously delicious Reeses Peanut Butter Cookies to die for!
- 1⁄2 Cup butter or margarine
- 1⁄2 Cup creamy Peanut Butter
- 1⁄2 Cup sugar
- 1⁄2 Cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1⁄4 Cups all-purpose flour
- 3⁄4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 40 Reese’s peanut butter cup candies
Cream butter and peanut butter, beat egg and add all liquid ingredients.
Add all dry ingredients and mix well.
Chill dough for at least 1 hour and preferably 24 hours.
Roll dough into 1-inch balls.
Bake in miniature muffin tin at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
Remove from oven and press a peanut butter cup into the center of each cookie while it’s still warm.
Let cool before removing from muffin tin.
Enjoy!
Tom (
... you won't toss these cookies!
