V&A aren't on the DDP so I'll go ahead and guess that this won't be covered either.

I can't remember though, does TIW work at this restaurant? Not that it would work for a special, we've found that out the hard way, but just in general?

V&A is so far above and beyond any other restaurant at WDW. We have done both the Chef's Table (once) and the main dining room twice. Chef Hunnel and his staff do everything perfectly. The service is impeccable. I believe the main dining room is now $135/person, not including wine. Things like caviar, Kobe Beef, etc. have a surcharge.

yep Tables in Wonderland works in this restaurant however the gratuity automatically added is then 20%. That's ok, we'd tip that or more anyway so we just consider the card to pay the tip and on a $400 or so meal, that in itself pays the subscription for the card!

Thanks Keith. Now that you say it, I remember. I believe you mentioned that before; the 20% which is perfectly understandable.

I have to admit, I'm a bit biased against the place, and there is no earthly reason for me to be. I just cannot believe that WDW would do that bang up of a job on food. I like some places very well, of course but have had so much better food elsewhere.

Plus, the cost for NYE? For two? We could have one heck of a private dinner for that kind of money. We are actually...having one heck of a private dinner and it won't cost that by half!

Ive got all ours saved up here but to be honest they're all different! They choose the best local produce at the time and create the menus around it so if you find a menu online, it'll give you an IDEA but it won't really do it justice if you see what I mean?

For a special and/or romantic meal though, there's nothing better than the beautiful, quiet (no kids ) surroundings, harp player in the background and food that just melts in your mouth.

I should say, I'm picky I know what I like and that's that. Awful I know. I was really concerned when we first tried V&A. What if I Couldnt find anything I liked?

Anyway, I need not have worried, they work with you to ensure your experience there is a wonderful one. Last time I couldn't decide which of the meat selections I wanted and couldn't really find a fish course I fancied. No problem, they gave me all the meats and none of the fish

The wine pairings have on a couple of occasions come with a wine I didnt enjoy. They went away and came back with something different.

They really do everything they can to make sure you're happy (as they should at the price!).

(whilst I was typing this, they called to confirm our reservations for november how's that for coincidence)
