What are your views on the Sony VGN-NW11Z/T please.

Looks like a really nice laptop. I've never heard any complaints for people buying VAIO's- I prefer toshibas myself if I'm buying a windows computer.

I wouldn't be doin' my job if I didn't say.. have you considered a mac?!

Thanks Josh I'm not buying it but it is being offered as a replacement for Jacks damaged laptop by my insurance company.Don't think they'd run to a Mac!

Yes it's an Advent 5401 which we bought especially for the FireWire connection.We were offered a compaq presario with the new windows 7 thing but no FireWire so I turned it down.

ive heard bad reports on sonys wouldnt buy one

im a huge fan of toshibas and they are so much cheaper than sonys too

t ask ins if you can add to it and get a mac

ive heard of ppl when something goes wrong the are murder to get fixed they try to wriggle out of it and they are sometimes double what other makes are, just paying for the brand stupid really

You're the first person I've heard that doesn't like the VAIO laptops I'd ask the insurance if you could perhaps ugrade to the macbook but if not the vaio looks okay- I'd still prefer a tosh just because those are the only ones I have personal, first hand experience of.
