      We have had our cases opened before and a note left so now we have TSA locks

      Yes, I use a TSA approved lock.

      And, yes, luggage has been searched many times.

      I also take a regular luggage lock (prior to the TSA locks) and lock my case when it's in my hotel room. Nothing terribly valuable in it, more a nuisance to replace. No sense in tempting fate.

      yep i use TSA padlocks and never had a case searched
