      Whew! Well, we are all dug out finally...

      It's still wicked cold. 31 degrees right now.

      Our heater has been running and running and running. So is our pool pump. Can't risk that freezing. It's amazing how little this area is prepared to deal with a protracted period of cold. People are starting to have real problems. Cars are not winterized, etc.

      We were out running errands all day yesterday and the shops ranged from boiling hot to one where the workers were bundled in hats, coats, and gloves because they couldn't figure out how to get the AC off!

      Hope you are all hanging in there. I'm off to NC again on Monday, and am hoping MCO isn't totally backed up (loads of flights were canceled partly because of destination problems, and partly because MCO does't own any deicing equipment. Some of the individual airlines do and they are sharing, but it's a slow process.
