So many many nicknames..you have to think of that stuff as a parent, ya know

On the other hand, Constantine is a grand old style name. If they call him Coz, that's ok, and I can sort of see where they get that from Constantine.

You know what? I hated (still not to thrilled) with my "ugly, old name" as a kid. I wanted a pretty name like the rest of the Jennifers, Rachels, Lisas, etc...

I was called some pretty mean names, ones that I to this day won't willingly repeat.

All that to say, one thing I came to understand about my name is that it was unique (for the era/decades in which I was growing up) and no one else had it. It was mine (and some relatives ) alone.

Perhaps, without the meanness, little Coz will come to the same good understanding.

Isn't that true Tink? When I was growing up I was called Trish at home Patty by some grade school friends and Patsy by my God-Father. I cringed every time he called me Patsy, which of course meant that he did it more ! I wish he was still here to call me that, somethings become treasured memories!
