Re: Which one...
It was bad Tink but I know that things can go wrong in any Disney restaurant, even the best. You can imagine in August what the discomfort factor would be like if the air con wasnt working properly. Being from the old country, I thought I woud ask the server if there would be any Irish music played. Granted he was busy and looked slightly hassled but I couldnt believe his reply - 'We dont do Irish music here, we prefer American!' He was so snappy and then marched off.
What a load of nonense - I thought it was an Irish pub.
I was gobsmacked. i can tell you after an hour and a half of Shenandoah, What will we do with the Drunken Sailor and an assortment of Simon and Garfunkel songs, I had had enough. i often give restaurants a second chance but im not feeling up to going back to RR just yet!

What are you like Mick?:p You havent been for a while, have you? Still, youre going to rectify that soon. They are both at Downtown Disney. HOB is on the West side, across from Disney Quest and Raglan Road is just opposite the Harley Davison shop in Pleasure Island.

Re: Which one...
Well that was just the dumbest thing to say! They certainly do Irish Music. There is a nice lttle group (local) that plays quite a bit. Uses some traditional instruments too.

I can't imagine being there without AC at any time, never mind August!
They should have shut the place down.
Can't say as I blame you though, not wanting to go back. I've had some experiences that were so bad, I wasn't about to give the place a second chance! (Narcoosee's comes to mind as does Coral Reef. Although, I've heard that Coral Reef is now better).Thank you for being a member of our Secrets Family!!! We are so very pleased to have you with us!

Re: Which one...
It's not been there a really long time. Can't remember what year they actually put it in, but it's one of the newer additions to PI.

Never been to HoB, but chose Raglan Road as we LOVED our meal there last year, it was seriously good - especially the It's Not Bleedin Chowder!

We were just recently at Raglan Road for drinks with friends. Their DD ordered Colcannon and it looked wonderful. Would love to have a meal there some day.
