Re: What is Tenerife like
I've never been sorry, but I know friends who have stayed in Los Cristianos and they have loved it. I think it depends on where you are how far the walk is into the main area where all the bars and nightlife is

If ever there is a tomorrow when we're not together.......
there is something you must always remember.
You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.
But the most important thing is, even if we're apart...... I'll always be with you.
Winne the Pooh - A A Milne

A friend is a hand that is always holding yours,
no matter how close or far apart you may be.
A friend is someone who is always there and will always, always care.
A friend is a feeling of forever in the heart.

You're probably better off away from the main strip, all those teenagers, drink and hormones

Same here, one of my friends loves Los Cristianos. It's close enough to Las Americas if you want to go there, but far enough away so you don't get the drunkards

Re: What is Tenerife like
Its very nice. Just be sure to avoid the 'street sellers' unless you want something!
Get a taxi over to the waterpark one day, they have a dolphin show!

Loro Park is quite nice too. You can get a bus there from downtown, not sure where. Or again, get a taxi.
The sellers arent too bad, but if you stop to even look, they'll have a carrier bag full of cheap wallets in your hand and they'll be asking you for cash!
