      We're off!! The "INCREDIBLE" Road Trip South!

      Travelers - Myself, My Jon, The Boy, The Girl and THE DOG!

      Transportation - 2500 miles round trip in the trusty Kia Sorento - fresh off an oil change, tire rotation, alignment and GPS maps update (anyone care to guess which of these was the most expensive? )

      Time Frame - The Next 10 Days

      Final Destination: Memphis by way of Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and Nashville

      Mantra - THIS IS A ROAD TRIP!! We are *not* driving TO Memphis, we will eventually GET to Memphis.

      Notable events - Stopping over for family movie night w/ my cousin and his family tonight...pizza and Manhattans will abound! As well as a rousing round of "Apples to Apples - Disney Edition" and endless conversation of their upcoming FIRST trip to Disney this Thanksgiving. Stop in Blacksburg, VA for a short trip down memory lane and a few meals at some of our favorite old haunts. A visit with my birth father as well as my grandparents on his side, AND my half brother who I've seen three times in my LIFE. Dinner with Johnie (BFF extraordinaire) and her sister in Memphis, a nice looooooooooooooong visit with Jon's sister, BIL and LILLY!!!!! An evening out on Beale Street with aforementioned sister and BIL while the boy and girl babysit. And my personal favorite...a snow-tubing day in West Virginia!

      And whatever else catches our attention along the way!!!
