Pizzaria @ Epcot
Where the heck are they going to put this? Are they doing away with the private Illuminations viewing point? They better get to work because when I was there a couple weeks ago, they haven't even blocked off the area yet!

Pizza lovers, rejoice. Disney World is adding a pizzeria to its Italy pavilion at Epcot.
The 300-seat restaurant is scheduled to open this fall, according to the official Disney Parks blog. It will sport Florentine architecture, vaulted ceilings, outdoor dining and a secret weapon — water.
“It’ll be imported from a source where the composition most resembles water used in Naples, Italy, to make the authentic Italian dough,” the blog reads.
A name for the pizzeria has not been announced. It will be part of the Patina Restaurant Group, which also operates the Epcot’s Tutto Italia restaurant as well as outlets in New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles (including three at Anaheim’s Downtown Disney) and Las Vegas.

Re: Pizzaria @ Epcot
Hmmmmm, I don't know! Maybe in the back near Tutto Italia? They'd have to take down the statue and the water fountain though.
But, as you say, they could use the jetty area. That would be too bad.
I have to say, a pizzeria in EPCOT isn't my idea of "OH WOW!!! WHAT A UNIQUE ADDITION!" LOL.
Especially Neopolitan style.

Re: Pizzaria @ Epcot
I did read somewhere that it was going to be in the back near Tutto Italia...although I can only call my source "speculative" at best...same source also suggested it would be named "Naples 45 Ristorante e Pizzeria"
We shall see. Pizza, though? Really? I mean, I guess the best we can hope for is that it's better than Pizzafari or the Toy Story Arcade.

Re: Pizzaria @ Epcot
Stereotypical.

There are so many other options. Italy is a regional country, and has huge differences in food styles throughout... would have been wonderful to have something from Turin, or even the eastern seacoast.

Pizza is NOT the only thing that will be on the menu.

Re: Pizzaria @ Epcot
I did hear that John...I just don't understand why they don't *advertise* it more heavily....everything I've read so far is all about pizza.

Ugh. The American Pavilion is such an embarrassment with respect to food.
