healthy vegetarian options at disney world

question is are there any healthy and or vegetarian options at the disney resorts and restaurants? I think there must be but I cant see any listed?

I don't know too much about vegetarian dishes, but I do know there are meatless options throughout WDW.

If one were a vegan it might get trickier. I know if you provide 24 hour notice to a full service restaurant they'll be able to really accommodate your needs. If you don't, they'll still work with you using what ingredients they have on hand.

I don't know about the parks but I didn't find the USA too vegetarian friendly when I was in New York I asked what the veggie option was in one restaurant and I was told "We do Turkey Burgers..."

Any of the sit down restaurants at WDW will work with you to come up with a meal. Most of them have at least one vegetarian option on the menu but may be able to prepare others based on what supplies they have available on that day. It is best, however, to let them know when you make your ADR that you have a vegetarian/vegan in the group.

There used to be a lovely little vegetarian counter service place just as you cross by the castle into Liberty Square. Lovely pasta salads and things like that. Next trip I went it had gone.

Cosmic Rays do a half decent veggie burger but don't think that would count as a healthy option.

most places do have salads and/or fruit...

but for a proper veggie meal, specially at a sit down place you will have to ask.... I think...

oh! one tip though...

Tatiana is lactose intolerant, so our dining reservations said "allergy".... every single time the chef came out and asked what she could and couldnt eat, and were really good at providing options with NO DAIRY (not even butter)
