Harry Potter announcement set for March 25
Fans have been waiting for news on the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal but so far no official opening date has been announced. Although holiday packages have suggested that the attraction will be open by at worst May 28th, it's been speculated that it may open sooner.
We will hopefully find out on Thursday 25th March 2010. More news here as we get it

Confirmed grand opening atendees James and Oliver Phelps, bonnie wright, Tom Felton most of the cast and J.K.Rowling will be in attendance! 25th March at 12Pm ET the opening date will be revelead as well as special information about the Forbidden journey!

hope it might have a soft opening while we are there but suppose it will be really busy when ever it happens
