      Oh you're not late! My birthday is the 2nd.

      To each of you who took the time to post to this thread, thank you so much for your beautiful words and your warm wishes.

      It's been a lovely day. We took a ride to Cocoa Beach, and the traffic wasn't too bad at all. (Only once we approached the Cape). We walked along the beach (and whooooeeeee, was the beach BUSY!!!) in a perfect gentle breeze, and sun with no humidity.

      I touched my toes to the water. COOOOOOOOLD!!!!! We laughed to ourselves at the many folks in that ice bath swimming!

      Stopped by a little seafood place and had some...yep! Fried oysters for lunch! LOL.

      Stopped by a couple of shops and ran some errands. Waiting for Seth and his Da to arrive now. They'll probably be in by 9:00 pm or so.

      Not sure what we'll do with the early evening...

      This day would have been no where near as special had it not been for each one of you sharing your kindness with me.

      I did Mags, thank you!

      Seth and his Da arrived around 8:30 and we had a light supper. Herself surprised me with a little cake (she said you can't have a birthday with a little one in the house and not have cake, ice cream and candles) and some wickedly delicious raspberry sorbet!

      There was a birthday gift bag filled with presents too!

      So, the little guy (and his Da) are asleep upstairs. We have a mountain of cooking to do today... (when Seth came in last night, I asked if he was hungry and he said, "YES! Let's COOK!")! The boy loves to cook.
