Upper Class


Number of bags: 3 bags.
Routes applicable: All Virgin Atlantic routes.
Weight per bag: Up to 32kg each.
Dimensions per bag: Up to 90 x 75 x 43cm / Up to 35.5 x 29.5 x 16ins.


Premium Economy


Number of bags: 2 bags.
Routes applicable: All Virgin Atlantic routes.
Weight per bag: Up to 23kg each.
Dimensions per bag: Up to 90 x 75 x 43cm / Up to 35.5 x 29.5 x 16ins.


Economy


Number of bags: 1 bag.
Routes applicable: All Virgin Atlantic routes, (except Kenya/Nigeria, where allowance is 2 bags).
Weight per bag: Up to 23kg each.
Dimensions per bag: Up to 90 x 75 x 43cm / Up to 35.5 x 29.5 x 16ins.

* Any passengers travelling from India to the USA, (and vice-versa), with Virgin Atlantic for their entire journey, which involves a connecting flight via London Heathrow, will be entitled to an additional bag up to 23kg .


Infants Allowance


Number of bags: 1 bag.
Routes applicable: All Virgin Atlantic routes.
Weight per bag: Up to 23kg each.
Dimensions per bag: Up to 90 x 75 x 43cm / Up to 35.5 x 29.5 x 16ins.

** Passengers travelling with children or infants will be entitled to take one fully collapsible pushchair or a car seat in addition to their free checked baggage allowance. Infants not entitled to a seat are now entitled to one piece of checked luggage weighing no more than 23 kilos (50 lbs). They are also entitled to one piece of hand luggage weighing no more than 6 kilos. Extra baggage cannot be purchased for infants on any route.


Exceptions

- Gold card holders - one additional bag at 23 kilos (50lbs), irrespective of the cabin flown.

- Sporting allowance - 1 additional bag up to 23 kilos (50lbs), irrespective of the cabin flown.
