A Different Kind Of Florida Pre Trip Report

As most of you know my kids get married August 30th . Their wedding is at 5:00 PM and the reception is till 11:00 PM .
Before the announcement Jim and I was planning on a cruise the 31st of August ( yes, the day after the wedding ) to the 4th of September and then WDW . DH put himself in charge of getting the plane tickets . I told him we needed to be in Orlando no later than 2:45 PM for the last bus to the cruise . Since then the cruise has been canceled and we are going to our friends in Cocoa FL . before heading to Disney .
DH gave me the plane tickets for my birthday . It goes like this :
Allentown PA ( small hometown airprort ) at 6 AM aboard the Spirit of St Louis to Philadelphia and then from Philadelphia arriving in Orlando at 10:36 AM .

I tried changing the flight to a later time but with fares so high , there is no way . So, I will be crawling on the plane .
Once we arrive in Orlando , we will get our bags and stand outside till our friend arrives . He said, he will ride around until he sees us rather than park .
Once he picks us up and I am up to it , we may go to the outlets . If not, its back to our friends in Cocoa , unpack, turn the air conditioner on and crashing out until the 1st .
September 1st ~ driving up the BLine to Cocoa Beach for the day . Afterwards we are going to a Lobster Shanty Shack that a DF has often recommended .
September 2nd ~ spending the day at Rob's pool , having a barbeque and going out on the casino ship and then to the Tiki bar .
September 3rd ~ going to SeaWorld .
September 4th ~ probably just relaxing , swimming and out to dinner .
September 5th ~ leaving at 6 AM to check in at Pop Century . Afterwards, we are heading to Epcot . First stop is Soarin , then over to WS/Canada to sign in for the pin event . We are taking our break at the UK for Fish N Chips N beer at the pub . then back to pin trading .
The pin event closes at 6 PM and we have ADR's at the Rose & Crown Pub for 8:00 PM . for a patio seating .
Epcot has evening EMH's we will be able to do the rides .
September 6th ~ breakfast and back to Epcot for the pin event . Hit Soarin on the way in again . After the pin event we have ADR's at Le Celiers at 6:55 PM . After dinner, its back to Pop for an evening swim .
September 7th ~ AK in the morning . We only want to do EE , KS and festival of the Lion King . Then we are going to Hollywood Studios . We have an early dinner at The Prime Time Cafe . We hope to ride the new Toy Story Ride , Little Mermaid, Beauty and The Beast and Fantasmic . Doing MK EMH 's
September 8th ~ Waking up super early and taking a taxi to The Poly . Hoping by getting there at 7AM our room MAY be ready . If not, we are changing in our swim suits and enjoying the pool and the beach That evening we have ADR's at Tonys and we will do our shopping on Main Street . We want to watch Wishes from The Poly .
September 9th ~ we check out but since we don't leave the resort till 2 PM . I will ask for a courtesy late check out at 1 PM and enjoy the pool and that gorgeous view for the last time .

Maine'ly Lobster, Sister Tinker!!! Don't call it the Lobster Shanty as there is a place there with that name and it's HORRIBLE!!!!

Maine'ly Lobster is a little white (with a mural) roadside place (will be south on A1A from Cocoa, that has some umbrella tables outside for eating.

Have a delicious meal!!! The food is totally fresh and cooked to order.

OMG we will be seriously missing each other by Moments...my plane land at MCO at 215pm on the 9th

I think I got rid of the menu or I'd post it again here. I'll check when I get home and see if it's still there.

I might be there next week though, and if I stop, I'll get a menu. I'll have work related guests with me and they want to eat there. I can't eat there right now, so it will kill me to stop!

Just wanted to be sure you didn't end up at that NASTY Lobster Shanty.
