Re: Another question for our American friends
It's much easier to decide when you see the items.
I know Herself has some very dignified navy blue "books" that hold the quarters in the series by the years.
She also has one HUGE red one that is a map inside where the quarters are held.
All a matter of taste and preference eh? She's putting some together for children in the familly. Our Seth, Max... ect.
They don't know it of course, but we're hoping that when the years have passed, they'll be happy to have a commemorative of the quarters.
Now. You do know that there are cool new nickels too, right?

Re: Another question for our American friends
In the FWIW department.
Most of these folios and books come from Whitman Publishing.
Their website shows quite a few varying items for collecting and presenting state quarters or any other US coin you can think of. Folios, maps, books, etc. They even offer online ordering for their products.
Probably not the only vendor for this type of stuff but from what I've heard, the largest.

Re: Another question for our American friends
Ahh... But do you have all 100 quarters?

100 seez you? Yes.
You see the state quarters were all struck at two different US Mints. Each Mint striking a full set. You really need them from both the Denver Mint as well as the Philadelphia Mint.

Re: Another question for our American friends
Not to mention that there are quarters in the series from places other than the 50 states.
(Puerto Rico anyone)?
