      Re: Prescription Sunglasses

Jai got his from Walmart one year after his were stolen from our car...

He also went to the Florida Mall and there was a shop in ther.

Last year he ordered some online and he got a really good deal - only thing is you can't try them on so he tried lots on here, found the frames he liked and then ordered them online. He got some Ray Bans and they worked out much cheaper.

If you want the details send me a PM and I'll send them to you

      Re: Prescription Sunglasses

I'm the opposite Mick. I tried transitions on my last pair of glasses and it drove me up the wall. Great when you're outside but mine took ages to return to normal when back inside. Ok for some people but not for me working in a school. I'm in and out so much I spent half the day in darkness waiting for my lenses to fade.

Sandra I want details please as I need new sunglasses too.

      Re: Prescription Sunglasses

Not sure about Florida but there is a shop in Poole High St that does prescription sunglasses that offer designer frames like Oakley, Ray-ban etc. Just can't remember the name of the shop.

My next door neighbour has the same problem. Fine going outside but when she goes back indoors I have to hold her arm for a few mins and guide her until they return to clear. Bless her!

      Re: Prescription Sunglasses

i've got them from Walmart and they are good. I would get them at the start of your holiday though as they can take a while to come. We both ordered new pairs when we went in 2007 and Jon's didn't come back in time. Guess it depends on the prescription
