Disney Scrapbooks

Has anyone ever bought these I was thinking about getting each of the girls one and some other bits for Christmas so that they can make their own after the holiday. I thought I'd buy them when they went home and then take them back with us afterwards as a surprise.

I'm worried that the youngest won't be able to do it though she will be 5 and she is very independent She doesn't like people helping her and I'm concerned it could be too much for her. If I buy them for the older two, she will be upset because she hasn't got one

What do you think, is it difficult or could a 5 year old manage to make one.

I think that's a super idea Wendy. I'm sure the 5 year old will love doing the same as the older two. You could maybe get her some more basic scrapbook bits and bods....maybe based on her favourite character.

5 year olds love stickers, so just give her pictures and stickers and tell her to go for it.

Oh yes, they sure do! My whole house can attest to that!
Wendy, I think that's a GREAT idea..that way they can create their own Disney memories.

having run classes for kids when i was a CM consultant i would advise you to get her lots of stickers!! they like their stickers lol- i would perhaps not spend as much on it as the others - but it's a great thing for her to start doing.

It is actually an expensive hobby to have!
As I work in a college, I am about to get 6 weeks holiday and I intend on doing a couple of scrapbooks myself. I'm going to do a Disney one and a Florida one.
I also want to do a one in memory of Mam.....have been collecting old photos from way back as far as anyone had a camera....actually can't do this one yet as I'm not ready emotionally but, I have some great stuff for it.

one day the time will be right for you and you'll spend some wonderful and emotional time making it....

Do you really think she could do it, she does love stickers and glittery things and her favourites are the Princesses closely followed by Pooh and Eeyore.

So they do easy mounts and things as well as the difficult that would be great if they do.

I'm getting them all a Disney Photobook, but that won't be until we've come home and I won't have had chance to do anything before we see them.

I think it is a perfect idea. Each girl can make her own, according to her preferences and abilities. A five year old's will not be as polished as the fourteen year old's but that will be the fun of it, eh?

Totally agree Tink. When I was that age, I just loved to be creative with anything I could lay my hands on and I was so proud of my attempts too
