Disney Hollywood studios hat to come down?

Ive just been reading that the giant blue hat at the studios will be removed soon!!! I never liked that thing really, I mean EPCOT has the ball, Magic Kingdom has the castle, animal kingdom has the tree of life but that silly hat

Do you like it or will you be glad to see it go?

I agree! how could they even think of that? what would be the new park icon?

I agree with you guys, DHS is the home of Sorcerer Mickey.....including his hat.

I heard some people discussing this last time I was at the studios. The rumour was the hat would be used as an advert for a new film then taken away and the water tower would be the new park icon

oh, I suppose you do associate the tower with the park but it isn't nearly as magnificent as the hat.....in my opinion.
You see all of the icons just after you enter the parks at the moment and you know you're there.

I don't like the hat. I liked it when you entered the studios and could see all the way down to the Chinese Theater.
