Looking Glass Help - Paging Dawn & Dr. Skywatcher Please....
Had this posted on my Facebook page this morning, thought perhaps you could give me some advice to pass along?
"Elizabeth wants a telescope for her birthday (6th!), she wants to go into space but not be an astronaut, she wants to be a Spanish teacher, any suggestions for a telescope for a 6 yr old???"

hmm 6 is quite young
this is fun and inexpensive - should be able to see good detail on the moon, rings of saturn when they are better than they are at the moment and the moons of jupiter - plus its stable it its little cradle

It get surprisingly good reviews for a toy and is robust and easy to use - for the price its remarkable but just don't get her to expect too much
