Is 10 days too short?

i like being home when i actually get home but when im out there i get sad on the last day i want to stay, if i could live there i would be a happy bunny i could tell ya

its just not for everyone, i know a few people that get homesick when they go anywhere, not just florida

One way that I look at the "going home" thing is whether or not I would want to stay and live where I am, or am I happy just to visit.

If I know it is just a visit then it is good to be back home in familiar surroundings . However, I can truthfully say that I have not been in too many places that I would not have minded moving and living there if the "price was right"

Look at the bright side, you have 8 full days of vacation which is what most of us in the states have . We usually book for 7 -8 nights too! And if we drive that takes us 2 days to get home
