We've never been before.....all previous comments I've had about the place said it was ok and the locals were friendly
Scary as in......dark.....unfriendly folk.....likely to get dirty looks/face punched?

No, it's not a bad place Isafari. No rearranging of faces. It can get a bit loud with drinking, but you don't have to hang in those areas.

It's worth at least one visit.

The first time I went to Florida, we stayed near Old Town and I vaguely remember the car parade thing. It was busy with lots of people just like a typical Saturday night. I have to say it wasn't really my cup of tea but you have to try these things don't you
