Re: If you had to drop a park.............

I had to vote for AK even though it is my favourite park after HS. The one park I dont like (nor do my kids) is MK, so for us we would always leave that one out. We are even staying at Coronado so that we are neatly sandwiched between MGM and AK. As you say choices are personal. I hope you manage to sort out what suits you.

      I couldn't miss AK!
Could you go to AK on opening, stay for a few hours and then go over to DHS?

Would enjoy it more in cooler weather
SNAP! This is exactly what happened to us when we went in 2003. We lasted 2 hrs before we had to leave because of the heat. I see this as even more reason to choose it this time where as DH see it as a reason to avoid it.

d'ya know what - I would wait until you are there and see how it grabs you on the day - they are both very different in what they have to offer and it may depend on your fatigue levels at the time

Actually this makes a lot of sense. Sometimes I wonder why I feel I need to have each day's itinerary decided and cast in stone before we board the plane. Maybe a more 'suck it and see' attitude is needed!

Thats how we plan it Claire - always seems less stressful that way

'Oh but today was our EPCOT day you can't be tired' - after saying this once I realised it was a holiday we were on not boot camp

Again, this is like picking a favorite child. If it's hot, then I would skip AK though. It can truly be miserable there in the heat.
