love them both but for me 'Wishes' IS Disney

I love wishes and think it's very cleverly done, especially at the events BUT my eye wateringly, sighingly favourite display of all is Illuminations

I can't comment on Fantasmic since I have never seen it, however...Illuminations would be the absolute fave.

Wishes gives me chills and make me cry. I also love Illuminations but Wishes is my favorite.

We've seen it from all over the place. We've stood directly in front of the castle. We've sat on the veranda at Tomorrowland Terrace. We've been all over Main Street watching it. We've watched it from 'Ohana and California Grill. The BEST place to view it is if you can be part of a Grand Gathering and do the fireworks cruise. You are out in the water and can see the front of MK, the train station and the castle. It is breathtaking.

where do you sit/stand for wishes?

I like to set up by the train station, that way I can get out before the crowd gets to me.
