There's an airport in Melbourne as well, don't know if you can fly in there, it's really close too.

That's too bad, our daughter uses it all the time. I'd try Tampa then, that's only 1 1/2 hours away. Or maybe Jacksonville.

i reckon the only ones i can use is orlando, sanford, tampa or miami

I didn`t realise that you could get a direct flight to Tampa Mick.
When I had to go to Tampa on business a few years ago, I flew into MCO and then drove to Tampa from there. [On reflection, I may well have opted to do that! ]

If you could fly to Tampa though it would certainly ease your problems concerning getting to Orlando from the airport, as negotiating Tampa airport and driving to Orlando are a breeze.
