Rip Ride Rockit at Universal
Was just wondering if anyone on here have done this ride and what they thought of it?
When we went in 2008 it was being built, when we go back in November we will get to ride it! Yaaaaay!
Now i loooove big coasters, but ive been looking at pictures and there are no shoulder restraints which i dont like the idea of! I know gravity and all that business holds you in - but i dont think i would feel very secure knowing that i just had a lap restraint!
What did you think of it?

Presumably nobody flew out of it while you were watching it?!

I have not been back to Universal since it has opened. I can't wait to ride it though. It looks awesome!

I don't have any plans to go to Universal just yet. I'm hoping sometime early next year.

Re: Rip Ride Rockit at Universal
We rode it last August when they did the soft openings.
We waited in line for 2 hours and they kept having technical hitches.
We rode it twice in the end and it was awesome.Went far too quick to take it all in.
The lap bar is fine to hold you in as it is very secure. The ride doesn't actually go upside down so shoulder restraints aren't really necessary.
They don't allow any carry ons so make sure you store your stuff in a locker before you join the queue.
