Parking costs and spending money?

Hi Guys

We're off to Florida in October for 3 wks, (in 101 days to be exact - so excited),and we're trying to figure out how much money we need to take with us.

We've already bought the park tickets and we are staying in a villa. One of things we obviously have to factor in is the cost of parking at all the parks.

Can anyone give us an idea of how much the parking is and any advice of how much we should be thinking about taking with us? Is there any hidden costs we should be aware of?

parking charges at park $8

Per day. You will get a reciept so hang on to it if you wish to park hop on a given day. That way you only pay to park once. (Disney, we're talking about here).

The other parks charge too. It gets pricey, all those parking fees!

Parking at the WDW car parks sets you back $14 per car these days....unless you have an annual pass and it's then free.

Disney car parks are $14 a day, we spend most of our money on food as we like to eat out alot.

As you are staying in a villa you have the option of eating both onsite and offsite.

Osite restaurants tend to more expensive than off site. We hardly ever eat onsite.

Meal portions are big so and it acceptable to ask for a box to take food away with you if you can't finish your meal - this often comes in handy for a bit of lunch the neext day.

hmmm , how much to take - its always a difficult one , depends on ow much shopping you intend to do ; I've never found the food to be particularly expensive especially off site and the portions are Huuuge compared to the uk.

Thanks for the update on the car parking fees! We have APs so don't keep up with the current costs.

$14 per day is quite a chunk of money, and would require a line item in my travel budget!

$14 is quite a large increase since ilast paid as iam staying on site the free parking is a good saving
